cast-in stainless steel tubes

The concept of “composite casting” or “insert casting” refers to a specialized casting technique where additional components are embedded within the cast material to enhance its functionality or structural properties.

When threaded inserts, tubes, or similar parts are integrated into the cast part during the casting process, this is referred to as composite casting or insert casting. In this process, the insert parts are placed into the mold and encased with the liquid metal, so that they are firmly connected to the cast part after solidification. This method can be applied to improve the mechanical properties of the cast part or to integrate additional functional elements.

In tool casting, temperature controls can be cast in to cool or heat the finished tool depending on the application. For this purpose, we insert stainless steel tubes into the mold following the contour as specified. Various tube diameters and connections are standardly available from us.
